PEMF is an acronym for pulsed electromagnetic field. It is a type of therapy that uses electromagnetic fields to stimulate healing and reduce pain in various parts of the body. PEMF devices deliver pulses of energy that pass through the cells and increase their activity and function. PEMF therapy has been approved by the FDA for some conditions, such as non-union fractures and depression.
