This will be based on the conductivity of the water. You should have at least 50-70 TDS. If your source water is neutral (typically 7 – 7.2 pH) then Level 1 would be 8, level 2 would be 9, level 3 would be 10 and level 4 would be 10+. The higher the conductivity and the higher the voltage…
After the initial installation of the unit, you’ll have to press the start button (S). Once you open the faucet water will flow through the machine. If you ever lose power to the unit you will always have to press start (S) to make the unit function again.
In this case, we will need to check the voltage on the unit because the conductivity is probably too high. The machine is turning itself off to prevent damage so we would need to reduce the voltage and the machine should function properly.
